    Field Applications Engineer (DTV)

Responsibilities
  • Technical contact window between customers' engineering team and     applications team
  • Work with internal teams to provide customers prompt technical support such as customers' product definition and specifications, customers'     hardware design review, customers' board bring-up, software release, bug reproducing, bug fixing, etc.
  • Work closely with customers and internal teams to establish customer's project milestones and ensure successful execution of milestones enabling mass production.
  • Regularly call and visit customers to ensure customers' mass production on schedule.
  • Participate internal periodical customer review meeting and write the review reports

Requirements

 
  •  A Bachelor degree or Master degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
  • At least 4 years experience of embedded software programming or hardware design.
  • At least one year experience in MPEG related products
  • Proficient in C programming and multi-task programming
  • Established knowledge in board level hardware and digital video and      audio
  • Good oral and written communications skills
  • Willing to work under pressure and willing to travel to customers' site to do onsite support when it is needed
  • To speak English is an Essential condition and well is an asset
  • Experience in HDTV and STB is preferred
  • Experience of Field Application Engineer is preferred
