Sr. Customer Quality Engineer

Description


Be responsible for Samsung MCD/LG MC account in the Korea/ China territory on customer quality, including customer specification alignment, customer quality problem resolution, dpm reduction, and customer relationship and maintenance. This position need closely work with local sales and the FAE team to increase Samsung MCD/LG MC customer satisfaction as well as working with corporate quality and Beijing operations to drive continuous improvement of our product quality.

 

 

   

Responsibilities


1. Timely and efficient customer quality problem resolution and effective actions for customer production ppm reduction.
2. Monthly reporting of Samsung MCD/LG MC factory DPMU / Pareto data and Monthly Metrics review with Corp quality & MBU teams.
3. Customer specification alignment - during new product pre launch, communicate customer requirements and provide prototype trial run data back to HQ to assure all customers requirements for reliability and qualification needs are met (device qualification requirements), also ensure a smooth prototype build prior to MP.
4. During the post launch phase (MP) to collect high DPM failures and coordinate the return of the FA lab for analysis and coordinate with FA engineer to ensure FA be completed within a customer satisfied cycle time.
5. Regular customer communication and interaction to develop key relationships with the Quality / engineering team at the customer’s location, as well as work with Corp group and BJ operation to keep continuous product quality improvement.
6. Work closely with local sales/FAE team to make customer satisfaction, target on ‘Perfect Quality Plan’ for key customers and assist to gain reputation and business for the company.
7. Customer relationship build and maintnance on quality engineering portion.
8. To implement other tasks assigned by supervisor and support other necessary project in own department
9. Understand and abide by the contents of ISO9000 and ISO14001, and also put forward amendment scheme in own working field.
