STG (Standard Product Group) Strategic Marketing Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION |
- The primary responsibility of the SPG Strategic Marketing Manager
will be conducting strategic marketing researches to provide directions and guidance for our new product and technology development. He/she will be required to plan, drive, and monitor the progress of activities and influence a wide array of people worldwide and across different organizations to secure necessary support, as well as lead direct reports to excel. Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must, along with the ability to develop cross-cultural understanding and work beyond cultural limits, especially with Phoenix headquarters and different countries in Asia

RESPONSIBILITIES |
- Market analysis (size, trends, opportunities to grow, market share,
competitive analysis) and market growth strategy.
- Marketing planning (awareness, market growth planning.
- Demand forecasting, and inventory mgmt.
- Developing key expertise and driving activities in all areas of the
marketing mix (Product, Price, Place, Promotion)
- Driving product design-in through direct and in-direct sales channels.
- Developing relevant customer relationships
- Serving as the primary product line interface to all other functions
with strong interface with the following depts.: Sales, Demand Planning; Price mgmt &customer marketing organization, external customers (end-customers, reps, distributors) and internal customers (Sales, Marketing Communications, other product organizations)
- Definition and creation of business processes to increase revenue and
expand market presence.
- Development and execution of product marketing plans.
- Working with sales teams to identify business opportunities.
- Create product positioning strategies, communicate then with sales
team, and channel partners.
- Creation and maintenance of metrics to track objectives, provide
forecasting information and measure success.

REQUIREMENT |
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor Degree, addition MBA or
Technical Degree would be an added advantage.

At least 10 years of experience working in the semiconductor or electronic components industry is necessary. Previous experience worked in a product marketing role is a plus.

Understanding of principal functionality/technology and data sheets of assigned products is needed.

Proven success in creating and implementing unique and innovative marketing programs that result in sales growth above market conditions.

Demonstrated success in developing and implementing pricing strategies across several geographies (direct and indirect channels) is highly desirable.

Must have experience in managing marketing staff to develop and implement marketing programs.

Excellent written and verbal English skills are essential, including presenting to management

Comfortable setting up meetings with and presenting to XXXXX executives, channel executives, and customers

Ability to make decisions independently and/or as part of team; excellent leadership, negotiation & persuasion skills; strategic vision planning and the ability to translate this into an actionable plan;

Strong customer orientation and able to react fact to changing environments;

Ability to document ideas in plans, including Forecasting, competitive positioning and financial return on investment analysis;

Organizational Skills ? ability to meet deadlines, ability to achieve and maintain expected productivity levels
