    is position will have the following responsibilities:

Job Description

  • Dedicated to support Voice Processing opportunities across
    Asia
  • Deliver outstanding technical support to XXX customers
    and ensure that the customer’s technical questions and
    issues are fully and promptly addressed
  • Be the technical support champion for the Voice Processing
    product line in Asia: (i) During the pre-sales phase you will
    drive opportunities to design in/win from the technical
    perspective (product selection, set up evaluation board
    demonstrations…), (ii) During the post-sales phase you will
    assist customers with integration of the product into the
    design/working scenario and help customers solve technical
    problems with the product.
  • Develop close one-on-one relationship with key engineers at
    identified accounts and provide recommendation and
    feedback on new features for XXX's next generation Voice
    Processing products
  • Prepare and deliver product training to XXXdistribution
    Field Applications Engineers
  • Produce Application Notes and White Papers adapted to local
    markets
  • The role is based in Korea but travel to customer sites (mainly
    in Korea, Japan and Taiwan) and multiple times to R & D
    Center in Canada

Requirement

  • 5+ years of SW/HW development and/or applications support
    experience in the embedded system area for Voice
    Processing, specifically Telecom (component and system
    level experience). Experience in Echo cancellation and voice
    recognition would be an Asset.
  • Experience in schematics generation, review, board level
    debugging and system design issues. Design experience in
    VoIP desk phones or Home networking systems would be an
    added advantage.
  • Ability to work at customer sites to solve complex technical
    issues; work with the central applications team by capturing
    detailed customer problems, analyzing them and generating
    solutions
  • Excellent communication skills (presentation, writing and
    verbal) in English and Korean
  • Ability to multi-task (deal with Pre- and Post-Sales activities
    simultaneously, support customers while traveling), meet
    customer deadlines and work under pressure
  • The candidate will have demonstrated a bias for action on
    customer issues throughout his/her career
  • Demonstrated commercial awareness and business sense
  • Knowledge of BlueTooth hands free car kit and IP desktop
    phone applications would be considered as an asset
